Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Dark Web Analyst to join Accenture Security, leading and contributing to dark web and underground intelligence collection. You will perform persona-based collection, monitor underground ecosystems, and deliver actionable intelligence for operational teams.

The role requires at least 7 years in cyber threat intelligence, hands-on dark web experience, and mentoring abilities. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in cyber threat intelligence (CTI), cybercrime investigations, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on dark web or underground collection experience.
• Minimum 3 years with at least two platforms: Flashpoint, Intel 471, Cybersixgill, Recorded Future.
• Minimum 1 year leading or mentoring analysts.
• At least 12 months operating personas in restricted/criminal online communities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (12 years) (or 6 years if Associate’s).
• Professional experience producing original intelligence reporting from firsthand collection.

Responsibilities

• Executing persona-based access and intelligence collection within criminal forums and marketplaces.
• Monitoring ransomware leak sites, IAB activity, and underground ecosystem trends.
• Producing intelligence reporting from firsthand collection activities.
• Developing and executing collection requirements aligned to stakeholder needs.
• Evaluating source credibility and validating claims in underground environments.
• Maintaining secure persona infrastructure and anonymized collection environments.
• Mentoring junior analysts and supporting persona development lifecycle.
• Partnering with legal and compliance on collection governance.
• Delivering briefs to senior stakeholders while protecting sensitive collection methodologies.
