Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking Dari-English medical interpreters for in-person assignments in the DMV area (DC, MD, VA).

These contract roles offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work across medical settings, helping patients and providers communicate effectively. Candidates should be fluent in English and Dari, have interpreting experience, be located in or near the DMV and willing to travel locally for assignments.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking Dari interpreters for in-person assignments across:

1. DMV Area (DC, MD, VA)

These assignments are primarily in medical settings, offering consistent opportunities for qualified interpreters.

IMPORTANT – Medical Compliance Required

To be eligible for medical assignments (the majority of our work), candidates must have the following vaccinations:

1. TDAP
2. MMR
3. Varicella
4. TB
5. Flu

Candidates without these will not be eligible for most assignments
