Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; DG certification preferred.
• Six months of related station/ramp/hub or safety experience preferred.
• Experience with computer systems (mainframe, PC, internet/intranet) preferred.
• Related knowledge of shipping or processing dangerous goods packages preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with equipment/assistance.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and communications.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and legal handling of dangerous goods including separation, palletizing and loading.
• Ensures dangerous goods paperwork is accurate, complete, and timely, and distributed to all necessary parties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
