Job summary

FedEx Logistics in North Charleston, SC is seeking a team member to safely and legally handle dangerous goods during loading and palletizing, ensuring proper separation and compliant paperwork.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, up to six months related experience preferred, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Training in dangerous goods and spill-clean-up is preferred; evening shift 4:30pm–9:30pm, five days a week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months related station, ramp, hub or safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping or processing dangerous goods packages strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand manuals, regulations, charts and tables, and effectively communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and legal handling of dangerous goods including separation, palletizing and aircraft/truck loading.
• Ensures related dangerous goods paperwork is accurate, complete, and timely, including proper distribution to all necessary parties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
