Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Dangerous goods certification (IATA DGR) required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of IATA DGR, IMDG, or local DG regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage compliance documentation under time pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to operations staff on loading, icing, and handling of dangerous goods and regulated cargo, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Act as on-floor compliance resource for dangerous goods regulations and advise on safe handling procedures.
  • Stay current on IATA, IMDG, and applicable local DG regulations and communicate updates to operational teams.
  • Support initial and recurrent dangerous goods training for operations personnel.
