Tutu School is seeking motivated individuals for its Teaching Assistant Program in Ohio. You’ll work alongside experienced Lead Teachers, gaining hands-on classroom management, lesson flow, and the art of teaching ballet to little ones.

Qualifications

• Basic dance experience required.
• Enjoy working with young children.
• Reliable, energetic and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in creating a fun, positive, and engaging class environment.
• Help young dancers participate, follow directions, and feel successful.
• Assist with props, activities, music, and transitions.
• Help prepare and reset the studio before and after class.
• Support classroom organization and cleanliness.
• Learn how to manage the energy of early childhood classes.
• Observe and learn from experienced Tutu School teachers.
• Gradually take on more teaching responsibilities as skills develop.
