American Leadership Academy is seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacherto join our Fine Arts program. The ideal candidate will have experience in various ballroom dance styles, with the ability to teach students of different skill levels. This part-time position involves instructing students in technique, choreography, and performance preparation.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• TeachBallroom Danceclasses, covering a variety of styles such as Latin, Standard, and Social Dance.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that focuses on technique, musicality, and performance skills.
• Prepare students forperformances, showcases, and potential competitions.
• Foster apositive and encouraginglearning environment.
• Collaborate with the Fine Arts team and administration to enhance thedance program.
• Provide feedback and coaching to help students improve their dance skills.
• Maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience inBallroom Dance instruction(teaching or professional performance experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge ofLatin, Standard, and Social Dance styles.
• Ability tochoreograph routinesfor student performances.
• Passion forteaching and inspiring students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Availability for scheduled class times and performances.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience teachinghigh school-level dance.
• Experiencecoaching or preparing students for competitions.
• Knowledge ofdance history, terminology, and proper technique.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other dance and Fine Arts instructors.
