Job summary

Evolve Dance Company in Rockford, IL is seeking part-time dance instructors to lead in-person classes across multiple styles for children. Availability on Thursdays 4:00 PM–9:00 PM and substitution possibilities Monday–Thursday 4:00–9:00, Saturdays 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, are valued.

Qualifications

• Instruct group classes in foundational dance technique in multiple styles.
• Solid foundation in various dance styles from education/teaching/performing experience.

Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for experienced dance teachers to join our teaching team at Evolve Dance Company. Our growing studio in Rockford, IL, focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Our positive classrooms are staffed by amazing teachers who go beyond teaching dance technique to developing important life skills in students because Evolve is about More Than Just Great Dancing!

We are looking for someone that can teach all styles and levels. We need someone available on Thursdays from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. We're also hoping to find someone willing to substitute teach all throughout the week (Monday - Thursday, 4:00-9:00 and Saturdays 9:00 AM-12:00 AM)

Evolve Dance Company started as a dream of Artistic Director, Jenny Vause, and became a reality in June of 2005. Since opening, Evolve continues to provide quality instruction to dancers in Rockford and the surrounding areas.

We are very proud of our teachers whose accomplishments include numerous choreography awards at competitions, choreography for children’s theaters, professional back-up dancing, and work with local churches and school musical.
