Job summary

Regents School of Austin is seeking a gifted Dance Teacher and Knightline Director to lead our Fine Arts program. You will teach dance, direct the Knightline drill team, plan rehearsals, choreograph routines, and perform at school events, competitions, and assemblies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Dance or related field, demonstrates excellence in instruction and team leadership, and embraces a Classical, Christian vision for the arts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Fine Arts, Education, or related field.
• Experience teaching dance and/or directing a drill team or performing arts program.
• Experience working with school-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Teach dance classes aligned with curriculum and educational philosophy.
• Plan lessons, rehearsals, choreography, and performances.
• Provide students with clear instruction, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
• Direct Knightline rehearsals and coordinate performances.
• Collaborate with the Director of Fine Arts to support the program.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined learning environment.
• Represent Regents School of Austin positively in school and community settings.
