Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts in Delavan at The Dance Factory is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor to inspire children aged 2-15 in ballet, tap, jazz, acro and lyrical. In-person lessons are scheduled on Tuesdays 4:00-9:00, Wednesdays 4:00-7:45, and Saturdays 9:00-12:00, with a focus on safe, encouraging classrooms and developing a lifelong love of dance.

You will create engaging lesson plans, choreograph routines for performances, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching dance to children ages 2–15 in multiple styles.
• Ability to develop lesson plans and choreograph routines.
• Excellent communication and positive, energetic teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Instructing students in dance techniques in beginner and intermediate classes.
• Strong dance background in various dance styles.

Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced Dance Instructor to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at The Dance Factory. Our growing studio in Delavan, WI, focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Our positive classrooms are staffed by amazing teachers who go beyond teaching dance technique to developing important life skills in students because The Dance Factory is about More Than Just Great Dancing!®

This position is for Tuesdays 4:00-9:00, Wednesdays 4:00-7:45, and Saturdays 9:00-12:00. Applicants should have the ability to work with children ages 2-15 in ballet, tap, jazz, acro, and lyrical.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus)
• Acrobatic Arts training is a huge plus

Pay Rate: $17-$20/hour - Depends on Experience
