OVERVIEW OF POSITION
Notre Dame High School seeks an experienced dance teacher who will bring a strong foundation in dance and a passion for engaging and supporting a diverse range of skill levels and abilities. They will design and implement instruction that builds students’ confidence and skill through conservatory and student-centered approaches. The Dance Teacher position is a part-time exempt role within the Performing Arts Department and is responsible for teaching Dance I (Full Year), Dance II (Full Year), and a thirdof a semester-long Musical Theatre Dance course. The teacher will inspire students to explore movement as an expressive art form, support technical development, and foster creativity and confidence through the performing arts. The teacher will also collaborate with other performing arts faculty in support of concerts, musicals, showcases, and other school-wide performances and events.

We expect our educators to support students by caring about their well-being both inside and outside the classroom. This includes occasionally attending events such as athletic games, theater productions, or other school-related activities to show encouragement and build community. Evening and weekend commitments may include Open House events, admissions activities, curriculum nights, and department-specific workshops. Additional responsibilities include assisting with admissions interviews and fulfilling other department-related duties as needed.
