Our Space, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Dance/Movement Therapist to deliver recovery-oriented services within the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program.

The role focuses on movement-based interventions to support emotional processing, coping, and interpersonal growth in a trauma-informed environment. The therapist will provide individual and group sessions, document outcomes, and collaborate with CCS coordinators to meet recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Current license in an applicable mental health profession.
• Current DSPS registration for Dance/Movement Therapy.
• Education and training in Dance/Movement Therapy.
• Ability to provide services in CCS settings.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, and facilitate structured Dance/Movement Therapy sessions aligned with participants’ CCS service plans and recovery goals.
• Utilize movement-based interventions to support emotional expression, body awareness, self-regulation, and personal growth.
• Incorporate creative, functional, nonverbal and verbal processing into sessions.
• Adapt interventions to participants’ abilities and backgrounds.
• Establish a trauma-informed, inclusive therapeutic environment.
• Assess responses and adjust approaches to support progress.
• Maintain professional boundaries and scope of practice.
