Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services seeks an experienced Dance/Movement Therapist to develop and implement movement-based therapeutic goals for clients. The role involves facilitating group and individual sessions, observing client movement, and documenting progress for treatment teams.

Travel between three programs in Burlington and Mercer Counties is required. A Master’s Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy or Counseling is required, along with a valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy or Counseling.
Driver’s license in good standing with no recent suspensions.
Willingness to travel between three programs in Burlington and Mercer Counties.

Responsibilities

Develop therapeutic goals by observing client movement and behavior.
Facilitate group and individual dance/movement therapy sessions.
Document client progress and participate in treatment team meetings.
Educate clients about the benefits of dance/movement therapy.
Provide movement-based activities to express emotions and develop communication skills.
Attend and contribute to treatment planning discussions with the team.
