Job summary

Two Rivers Ymca, Inc. in Moline, IL seeks a part-time Sports Leader to teach fundamentals of youth and adult sports, model YMCA values, and work with volunteers to meet program goals.

Evening and afternoon availability is required to support after-school and community activities. You will prepare activities, supervise equipment, ensure safety, communicate needs to staff, and build positive relationships with participants, families and caregivers while upholding core values of caring, honesty,

Qualifications

• One year of related experience preferred.
• Completion of CPR, First Aid, AED within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with youth and adult sports programs using equipment safely; engage participants and maintain facilities.
• Assist in marketing and distribution of program information.
• Ensure YMCA program standards and safety procedures are followed.
• Model relationship-building with staff, parents, caregivers and participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned per Sports Leader expectations.
