Consider joining our School of Dance at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center. Our growing program is family-friendly and community-oriented, offering high-quality dance instruction for beginner through advanced students. We are currently hiring for Summer 2025 and the 2025 – 2026 school year.
This is a PART-TIME NON-BENEFITTED position.
Ideal candidates should possess skills in at least one or two of the following techniques: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Creative Movement.

Our growing program is vital and creative. We inspire creativity for our students with our love to share the art of dance. All instructors are required to follow a curriculum; training and teaching tools will be provided.
Dance classes will be taught in a dance studio at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center. Summer camps and classes run from June to August. The 2025-2026 school year begins in September.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 8th grade education and 0-12 months of related experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 16 years old.
STARTING PAYRATE: $16.66
The Department of Parks and Recreation conducts DMV records checks on all employees driving for work purposes and criminal background checks on all hires age 18 years and older.
