This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.

May be asked to teach days, evenings, hybrid/online and in the dual enrollment program. Online/hybrid teaching requires additional campus-based training.

The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s in dance, physical education with a dance emphasis, or theater with dance emphasis,
OR
Bachelor’s in any of the above
AND Master’s in physical education, any life science, physiology, theater arts, kinesiology, humanities, performing arts or music
OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area;
OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment, and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
