Job summary

Round Lake Area Park District is seeking enthusiastic Dance Instructors to join our Fall 2026 team. You’ll teach engaging, high-energy classes across multiple styles, inspire growth, and choreograph routines for recitals.

This role offers flexible evening and weekend schedules in a welcoming community. Applicants should have experience in at least two styles, strong communication and leadership, and the ability to adapt to varying ages and skill levels.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in at least two dance styles.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred, especially with children and teens.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to adapt teaching methods for varying ages, levels, and learning styles.
  • Availability for evening and/or weekend classes.

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging, high-energy dance classes.
  • Inspire students and support their growth and confidence.
  • Choreograph routines for recitals and performances.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

As we expand for Fall 2026, we’re looking for enthusiastic, skilled Dance Instructors to join our growing team.
