Concorde Education seeks independent instructional contractors to provide dance enrichment for K–12 students. Assignments are on-site at partner schools and offered with flexible start dates throughout the school year.

Contractors may use their professional judgment to adapt instruction while following site requirements. Each assignment emphasizes engaging, age-appropriate dance activities, safety, inclusivity, and clear communication with Concorde and school staff.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience with dance instruction, choreography, performance, or related movement disciplines.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate dance instruction and movement sessions.
• Teach foundational dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, choreography, and creative movement through structured activities.
• Adapt instruction based on student experience levels, site requirements, available space, and program objectives.
• Guide students in developing dance routines, performance skills, teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate assignment-related needs or significant concerns with Concorde and school staff.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session.
• Follow site safety, visitor, technology, emergency, and student-protection procedures.
