Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide dance enrichment services for K–12 students. This is a potential independent contractor assignment, not an employee position.

Contractors may choose whether to apply for, accept, decline, or ignore opportunities. Assignments vary by school, grade level, schedule, curriculum, available space, music resources, and program objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in dance instruction, choreography, and related movement.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate dance instruction and movement sessions.
• Teach foundational dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, choreography, and creative movement.
• Adapt instruction based on student experience levels, site requirements, space, and objectives.
• Guide students in developing routines, performance skills, teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate needs or concerns with Concorde and school staff.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each session.
• Follow site safety, visitor, and student-protection procedures.
