Job summary

YMCA of Greater Toledo is seeking a Part-Time Dance Instructor to inspire creativity and rhythm in youth classes. We welcome all styles—ballet, tap, hip hop, plus cheer and musical theatre—and offer flexible hours to balance passions with life’s adventures.

You’ll play a key role in a vibrant community at the Fort Meigs YMCA. In this role you’ll teach diverse styles, promote safety and teamwork, and help dancers of all levels grow confidence and joy in movement.

Qualifications

• Dance Instructors must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in ballet, tap, jazz, or hip hop is preferred.
• Able to teach multiple styles and ensure safety in class.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch instruction in a lively and safe environment.

Get ready to groove with us! As a Part-Time Dance Instructor, you'll be surrounded by energetic vibes and a community that loves to move! This position offers you the chance to inspire creativity and rhythm in our fantastic youth classes. With flexible hours, you can balance your passion for dance while enjoying life's adventures! We're currently looking for all styles: ballet, tap, or hip hop. Other interests could include cheer, musical theater and basic tumbling.
