Stage Images Dance Studio is seeking a Dance Instructor to lead classes from youngest movers to advanced performers. You will own your classroom, ensuring safety, structure, energy, and growth, reporting to the studio director.
Responsibilities include creating engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, maintaining classroom authority, and tracking student progress. You will choreograph for shows, support events, and maintain professional communication with families and staff.
Do you remember the teacher who made you feel like you could do anything? Be that person. At Stage Images, our instructors do more than teach steps: they build confident, kind, capable young humans, one class at a time.
We provide intentional, technique-driven training within a supportive, community-focused environment for dancers ages 2.5 through adult. At Stage Images Dance Studio, our faculty is made up of passionate, experienced educators who are committed to developing dancers as artists, athletes, and individuals. Each team member brings a unique blend of training, expertise, and mentorship – ensuring our dancers receive thoughtful, age-appropriate instruction in a supportive and professional environment.
As a Dance Instructor, you will lead classes across all levels, from our youngest movers to advanced performers. You own your classroom: the safety, the structure, the energy, and the growth of every performer in it. You will report to either studio director.
Teaching and Classroom Leadership:
Performance and End of Year Show Readiness:
Community and Professionalism:
We hire humans who nurture first, professionals who execute second, and technical experts third. A warm, coachable teacher with growing technique will always beat a brilliant technician who is cold with kids. We are looking for teachers that consider the whole human, not just the dancer.
We start at $30, depending on experience and genres taught. Rate negotiable.
Our season runs August through June, ending in Gala (recital). Summer camps and intensives offer additional teaching opportunities. Key commitments include dress rehearsals, Winter Show, Gala week, and Picture Week.
Email your resume to mkelley@stageimagesdance.com with a short note (or a 2-minute video) telling us about a teacher who changed your life and what you took from them into your own teaching. Applications without this step will not be reviewed.
If you would like to apply on Indeed, please upload the resume here and send in a short video or note replying to the prompt above.
