Position Summary

The Dance Instructor provides engaging dance classes that promote fitness, self-expression, and confidence. They act as a motivational resource for participants and maintain positive relationships to encourage ongoing participation. The instructor is responsible for meeting attendance goals and promoting Life Time’s programs, products, and services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching challenging and entertaining dance classes.
• Educate participants on proper dance techniques and modifications.
• Engage with members before and after classes, answer questions, and foster a welcoming environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space.
• Provide motivating music that is appropriate and enhances the dance experience.
• Promote Life Time’s promotions, programs, and services, encouraging class participation.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of dance instruction or related experience
• CPR/AED Certification
• Relevant dance certification or qualification (if applicable)
• Ability to perform dance routines and demonstrate techniques
• Ability to lift and move equipment or assist participants as needed
