Position Details

Title: Damage Prevention Specialist I

Essential Functions

• Identify, locate, and mark subsurface utilities to prevent damage during excavation.
• Work in various terrains and weather conditions in construction zones and different areas.
• Utilize locate tools, GPS data, maps, and blueprints to accurately map underground utilities.
• Document work, update maps, and photograph sites.
• Communicate effectively with team and clients, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

• Ability to perform manual labor in adverse conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Pass background checks and drug screening.

Experience & Education

• Experience in utility locating is a plus but not required.
