The U.S. Department of the Interior's Reclamation is seeking a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist at Elephant Butte, New Mexico.

You will oversee daily operation, maintenance and safety of dam and water infrastructure, developing short- and long-term plans and coordinating with Powerplant and Water Operations staff. As a COR, you will draft statements of work, resolve contract issues, review completed work, and manage personnel, budgets, and resources to ensure reliable gates, valves and

Formación

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
Background investigation and favorable adjudication.
Selective Service registration required for certain males born after 1959.

Responsabilidades

Ensure safe, reliable operation of dam and water infrastructure through daily monitoring and maintenance.
Develop short- and long-term maintenance plans and coordinate with Powerplant and Water Operations staff.
Serve as Contracting Officer Representative, develop statements of work, ensure alignment with project requirements, and resolve issues independently.
Track and report recommendations to Region Dam safety and manage personnel, resources, and budgets to support maintenance of gates, valves, and related systems.
