Job summary

HDR is seeking Professional Engineers to join their Hydropower Practice, focused on innovative projects in dam safety and hydropower. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

You will support inspections, conduct analyses, and prepare design documents for dams and hydraulic structures. The role requires a Professional Engineer license and involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in relevant engineering fields.
• Experienced in hydropower/pumped-storage projects regulated by FERC.
• Ability to travel for inspections and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support inspections and assessments of existing dams.
• Prepare contract documents for new hydraulic structures.
• Act as independent project engineer providing QA/QC oversight.

Skills
