Job description

Seeking an experienced Dam Project Manager to join our growing Dam Engineering Group. This role requires at least 10 years of direct dam engineering experience, with expertise in evaluating and designing the aging dams that define much of the New England landscape.

The successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer with proven experience in project management, client relations, proposal development, and business development. We are looking for someone with both technical expertise and a passion for helping public and private dam owners address today’s engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and/or oversee geotechnical engineering field and lab evaluations for dam and civil/site projects.
  • Supervise engineers, technicians, staff, and subcontractors in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, construction documents, progress reports, and project deliverables.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and scopes of work.
  • Participate in client meetings, community presentations, and interviews.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in staff performance evaluations.
