Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, seeks skilled Maintenance Workers to support safe operation and maintenance of lake projects and flood-control facilities in OK and TX. You will handle mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, and perform inspections of facilities and contracted work.

Work spans across multiple project sites. Roles require independent work, teamwork, physical fitness, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when required for assigned vehicle or equipment operations.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the required Corps of Engineers boat operator's license/qualification.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the required forklift operator qualification/license.
• Citizenship in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dam and project infrastructure and related assets across facilities.
• Perform skilled, multi-trade maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and related systems.
• Operate heavy equipment, vehicles, and vessels safely.
• Support dam and flood-control operations, weather data collection, and daily logs.
• Inspect contracted services and ensure workmanship, materials, and safety compliance.
