Job summary

Texans Can Academies in Dallas area is seeking a dedicated Security Administrator to ensure the safety, security, and welfare of students, staff and visitors under the direction of the Executive Director of Safety and Security. You will maintain order, prevent crime, and assist with school operations during events on campus.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis response, and the ability to coordinate with law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or qualifying prior military, law enforcement or security experience.
• Texas Level III or Level IV Security certification, Texas License to Carry.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises.
• Patrols and monitors assigned areas of the school building, grounds and parking lots to deter, detect, report and stop violations.
• Secures premises and personnel by controlling entry and screening all visitors per district policy.
• Detects, investigates, and reports unauthorized or suspicious persons, vehicles and activities.
• Monitors surveillance and security panel alarm systems, assisting with emergency response.
• Notifies authorities of security or emergency situations and assists during crises.
• Assists with planning, coordinating and working special events and projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

Texas Level III or Level IV Security certification

Texas License to Carry

Valid Texas Driver's License
