Texans Can Academies Houston Southwest campus in Houston, TX seeks a Security Operations Liaison (Armed) to safeguard students, staff and visitors under the direction of Safety leadership. The role requires patrols, access control, incident response, and collaboration with local law enforcement during campus events.

CAMPUS ASSIGNMENT WILL BE IN THE DALLAS AREA; candidate must be willing to travel as required and maintain readiness for security duties across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or qualifying military/security experience.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Pass fingerprint background, drug/alcohol screening and mental health evaluation.
• Security certifications and license to carry as listed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the security, safety, and welfare of all personnel, visitors and the premises.
• Patrols and monitors assigned areas and enforces school policies.
• Controls entry and screens visitors per district policy.
• Deterrence, investigation and reporting of unauthorized activities.
• Coordinate with authorities and assist in emergency response.
• All school events support and operations coordination.
• Must be able to carry and use security weapons, including a firearm, per district protocols.
• Annual firearms training/certification requirements.
