The Teller is responsible for performing a wide variety of supportive, member service duties while functioning as a teller in a cash drawer on the teller line. A Branch Support Services Representative must be professional, courteous, and deliver top-notch service when assisting members and co-workers face-to-face, by phone, or through the drive thru.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and Balancing a Cash Drawer
  • Completing Teller and Member Service Transactions
  • ATM and Night Deposit Transactions
  • Receiving and Directing Telephone Calls
  • Cross-Selling SWACU’s Products and Services to aid in Meeting Branch and Personal Goals – with the opportunity to earn an incentive!

This position also performs a variety of miscellaneous support functions:

  • Processes Voucher Transactions
  • Notary Republic
  • Returned Mail
  • Reporting Projects
  • Check Hold Reviews

This position will serve as back up to the Receptionist and Lobby service positions as needed. A Branch Support Services Representative must also understand the regulations and follow the policies and procedures of the position.

Qualifications:

  • Great attitude and enthusiasm!
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of using a computer, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication while maintaining professional, courteous, and friendly service to our members and co-workers
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively suggest new products and services to our members
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of cash handling experience, with a history of good balancing
  • One to three years of service experience, preferably in a Financial Institution
  • All qualified candidates must pass a credit and background check

Pay:

Starting pay DOE

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:10am – 5:10pm (No weekends)
