Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc seeks a senior auditor to plan and perform audits across operations, financial, IT and compliance to minimize risk. The candidate must be based in Dallas and come to the office at least three days weekly.

Responsibilities include preparing audit programs, conducting field work, developing actionable recommendations, following up on findings, and communicating results to management and the Audit Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare, preferably in accounting or audit.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit/accounting, with healthcare auditing experience a plus.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Team player who adds value while improving operations.
• Highly motivated multitasker who meets deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit tools (Excel, ACL).
• Willingness to travel 25–30% and pass MVR.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform audits across operations, financial, IT, compliance and internal controls.
• Prepare audit programs and evaluate results.
• Conduct field work in the office and in the field.
• Develop practical process-improvement recommendations.
• Complete audit follow-up and remediation testing.
• Communicate results to management, operations personnel, senior management and Audit Committee.
• Adhere to policies and quality assurance processes.
• Stay updated on best practices and promote them in the organization.
