Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3 years of operations experience.
• Demonstrates advanced people and/or process management skills.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and interdependencies across sites.

Responsibilities

• Guides department activities to support design of new products, modify existing designs, and improve production techniques.
• Explores technology trends and market demand to plan projects.
• Collaborates with management, production, and marketing to resolve feasibility, cost, and customer demand.
• Forecasts operating costs and assists with budget requests.
• Develops strategic plans and annual operating plans for the function.
• Manages resource requirements for materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Prioritizes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates production with planning and distribution.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensures manufacturing quality and cost targets are met.
• Engages in complex problem solving and evaluation of data.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations
