McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for its Dallas, TX on-site office to support heavy civil construction projects. The role involves project scheduling, cost control, and coordination with subcontractors and vendors.

Occasional travel to project sites is required, with background checks and security clearances as per client requirements. Responsibilities include assisting with operations planning, contract administration, and training Field Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM or Engineering preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in construction.
• Ability to read, analyze engineering plans, specs, and contracts.
• Strong pre-construction and construction process knowledge.
• Team-oriented; accepts direction and feedback.
• Punctual, regular attendance per project hours.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Primavera is a plus.
• Experience managing engineers.

Responsabilités

• Performs scheduling of the project.
• Manages revenue, cost, and cash flow.
• Coordinates sub-contractors and product vendors.
• Participates in design management and quality control.
• Maintains good relationships with client representatives.
• Assists in Operations planning.
• Administers contracts and subcontracts.
• Trains and directs Field Engineers.
• Develops and maintains owner relations.
