Job summary

JND is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer based in Dallas to oversee mobile software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance and seamless delivery of next-generation mobile devices while performing rigorous testing operations.

This position requires proficiency in both Mandarin and English, along with strong experience in testing for North American mobile operators. In addition, benefits include medical insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing for customized mobile communication terminal products.
• Strong familiarity with testing procedures and certification processes of major North American operators.
• Must be fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive 5G/4G protocol and live network field testing.
• Log, track, and manage software defects in the bug-tracking system.
• Cooperate with compliance checks and execute regression testing.
• Communicate seamlessly with R&D project teams.

Skills

Hands-on experience in software testing

Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin)

Fluent in English

Experience with QXDM and Wireshark

Familiarity with T-Mobile specific device validation
