Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking CDL drivers to safely haul raw milk from farm to processing plants. You will operate DFA tank trailers according to dispatch schedules, perform quality control sampling at farms, and work to minimize idle time while conserving fuel.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, tanker endorsement, and a focus on safety, accuracy, and professionalism in all customer and regulatory interactions. Benefits include paid time off, insurance, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year CDL experience or FMCSA-approved driving school graduate.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and safety regulations.
• Clear English communication (written and verbal).
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and safety policies.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, connecting hoses and inspecting trailers.
• Verify documentation (Load numbers/Seal numbers) for delivery validation.
• Disassemble and clean trailer pumps to maintain cleanliness at a food-grade level.
• Represent DFA positively during interactions with customers or regulatory personnel.
