Job summary

Worksource Oregon is seeking a safety-focused Route Specialist I to deliver dairy sanitation products, pipeline washes, teat dips, and agricultural chemicals to dairy farms along an Oregon route. You will work with customers, route teammates, and leadership to ensure accurate deliveries, maintain farm-site inventory, and follow DOT/OSHA safety requirements.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with HazMat and at least one year of manual transmission driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience operating a manual transmission truck.

Responsibilities

• Safe Delivery and Unloading: Transport products along an assigned route and unload them into designated farm milk houses or storage tanks following safety procedures.
• Vehicle Inspections: Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns to keep vehicles and containment systems safe.
• Inventory and Documentation: Maintain truck and customer-site inventory and complete sales orders; record DOT mileage and hours.
• Customer Service and Communication: Build relationships with dairy farmers and managers and relay schedule changes to teammates and leadership.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow OSHA, DOT, EPA requirements and use PPE; report hazards or incidents promptly.
