Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT represents a large Ohio dairy seeking an experienced Breeding Manager to lead daily reproductive activities and support herd performance goals.

The role centers on AI, synchronization protocols, heat detection, semen handling, and precise record keeping in DairyComp and other systems, with cooperation from herd managers and a veterinarian to boost conception rates.

Formación

• Strong artificial insemination (AI) breeding experience.
• Experience administering reproductive protocols (Lutalyse, GnRH, CIDR).
• Familiarity with heat detection systems such as SCR or similar tech.
• Ultrasound pregnancy checks preferred.
• Basic computer skills with herd management software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform AI on cows and heifers and manage semen handling and storage.
• Administer synchronization/hormone protocols and monitor heats.
• Enter breeding records into DairyComp and other herd-management systems.
• Collaborate with herd management and veterinarian to improve conception rates.
• Paint/monitor heifers for heat detection and assist with ultrasound pregnancy checks.
