Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Summary

This position assists the Restaurant Manager (RM) with daily operations and supervises the team in their absence. The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) leads and coaches Team Members and partners with management to maintain operational standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Restaurant Assistant Manager Expectations

• Provides excellent guest service; coaches and corrects team
• Conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads
• Maintains a clean environment; assigns and follows up on shift duties
• Ensures food is prepared and served according to standards; coaches team
• Assists with new product training and campaign materials
• Ensures quality, safety, and operational standards are met
• Monitors cash, sales, and inventory; completes shift paperwork
• Handles administrative duties in RM's absence
• Follows safety laws and policies
• Completes incident reports
• Partners with RM to meet financial and operational goals

Qualifications
