Job summary

Refuel Operating Company, LLC is seeking a Dairy Queen Shift Lead in Southern Pines, NC. You will supervise team members, ensure quick, friendly service, and uphold food quality and cleanliness during shifts.

The role supports the management team and requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Previous quick-service experience is preferred and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Job Title: Dairy Queen Shift Lead

Reports To: Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

Role Type: Full-time or Part-time

Working Hours: This position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Weekly hours will vary depending on business needs.

Job Summary: A Dairy Queen Shift Lead supports restaurant operations by leading the team during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards. This role acts as a key point of support for the management team and helps keep shifts running smoothly.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Assist with training and coaching new team members

Education And Experience

An ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

• Previous quick-service or food service experience
  
  

Working Environment And Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.
• Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
• Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.

Travel: Must be able to travel up to 10%
