Job summary

Leprino Foods Company is seeking a Quality Processing Lab Tech in Roswell, NM to ensure product quality and compliance. You will perform rigorous testing, manage samples, and interact with multiple departments to maintain test integrity and accurate records.

The role requires reading procedures, data entry into Real Time systems, and collaboration with production teams to support a 24/7 operation. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend procedures directing the position’s assignments.
• Strong communication between production departments (Warehouse, Processing, Cheese, Whey).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines to ensure food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain instrumentation, cross-checks, and sample programs to assure test integrity and consistency.
• Perform routine testing and control programs to monitor equipment and procedures and alert discrepancies.
• Obtain in-process samples of finished cheese, processed cheese, ingredients, milk; prepare samples for shipping or testing.
• Perform quality checks during processing (input/output quality, magnets, metal detectors, packaging integrity, weights).
• Understand cheese grading of bulk cheese and sampling for bacti testing.
• Interact with production and warehouse personnel for samples or results.
• Enter input set information into Real Time systems and monitor production usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by foreperson or supervisor.
