Job summary

Darigold is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Supervisor for our Caldwell plant. This role oversees daily laboratory operations, product quality, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance, partnering with Operations and Corporate Quality to ensure specifications are met.

The successful candidate will lead QA staff, drive corrective actions, and maintain documentation, with strong dairy industry knowledge and hands-on analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive QA or laboratory experience in food manufacturing, dairy preferred.
• Strong understanding of dairy product quality, laboratory testing, and food safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory testing, calibration, quality control, sample management and documentation.
• Review results, processing parameters, and production records; support holds and corrective actions.
• Participate in HACCP and maintain allergen control, environmental monitoring, and Appendic N documentation.
• Maintain audit-ready records, support regulatory and third-party audits, investigate findings and verify corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into nonconformances, apply root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Review supplier COAs, investigate complaints, coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to lab and QA staff; train on quality and food safety requirements.
• Track and report key quality metrics; communicate improvements to Plant Leadership.
