Leprino Foods Company in Greeley, CO is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Protein Department. The role leads hourly staff in native whey & micellar casein production, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across shifts.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science or Dairy Technology (or equivalent) and 5+ years in food manufacturing, including 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Weekend and overnight shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year of leadership/mentoring experience.
• Working knowledge of processing or packaging systems and troubleshooting.
• Strong computer proficiency; ability to learn manufacturing software like SAP.
• Able to work weekends, swing, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of hourly employees in the Protein Department to ensure product quality, safety, and efficient production.
• Plan and schedule daily staffing to meet production goals while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and safety training.
• Supervise shift operations to meet productivity, yield and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure timely equipment repairs.
