Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our dairy facility. You will oversee production, maintenance, and quality control, ensuring safe, efficient output and adherence to company policies and budgets.

You will mentor a large hourly team, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet production schedules and deliverables. Strong leadership and SAP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring in a manufacturing facility.
• 3+ years in a food manufacturing environment; dairy/cheese experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage, and retain a large team of hourly associates.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with SAP or other manufacturing systems; MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implements and enforces safety programs and safe work practices.
• Partner with Production Manager and site leaders to meet productivity, quality, safety, and engagement goals.
• Meet production schedules and ensure yields and efficiencies align with budgets.
• Provide direction and development to direct reports and support continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate repair work with maintenance and other functions to optimize operations.
