Qualifications

• Lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfort with a food manufacturing environment and variable temperatures.
• Willingness to perform repetitive motions and use hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Flex to multiple areas to fill in as needed.
• Open barrels, blocks, or bags of cheese and other ingredients.
• Weigh ingredients to the specified amount per batch sheets.
• Use knives and wires to cut and trim ingredients to correct weights.
• Box and tape cheese products for packing and shipping.
• Stack packed boxes onto pallets for outbound handling.
• Transfer ingredients from scales to pickup tables.
• Load cheese into grinders (heavy lifting).
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Follow safety, GMP, and HACCP procedures.
