Job summary

Ornua is hiring a Production/Sanitation Associate for the 2nd shift in Hilbert, Wisconsin, to help maintain plant efficiency and ensure product quality. The role involves disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling equipment, handling ingredients, and supporting multiple areas as needed.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long shifts, work in a food manufacturing environment, and have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
• Stand/walk for 10 hours.
• Work in a food manufacturing environment with variable temperatures.
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production equipment.
• Flex to multiple areas to fill in as needed.
• Open barrels, blocks, or bags of cheese and other ingredients.
• Weigh ingredients to the specified amount per batch sheets.
• Place bags of cheese into boxes and send through for taping and boxing.
• Stack packed boxes of cheese onto pallets.
• Transfer ingredients from the scale to pickup tables.
• Load cheese into grinders and operate safely.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Follow safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
