Job summary

Agropur, a leading dairy cooperative in Wisconsin, is offering a Product Development Intern position. You will work with the Product Development Manager and the technical services team to research and manage assigned projects within a world-class dairy manufacturing environment.

You'll gain hands-on experience in product development, participate in benchtop testing, plan experiments, analyze results, and present outcomes to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in research and development, product innovation, and food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support product development projects from benchtop testing through plant trials.
• Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing experiments to support innovation and product improvements.
• Develop, test, and evaluate dairy products to ensure they meet project objectives and performance requirements.
• Document research findings and communicate results with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Plant Leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Development professionals to understand product development processes, challenges, and best practices.
• Gain exposure to dairy industry trends, regulations, and product innovation initiatives.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
