Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Luxemburg, WI seeks a Continuous Improvement Process Specialist to improve operating efficiencies in cheese and whey production. You will troubleshoot machines and processes and drive improvement actions with a cross-functional team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field and at least 3 years in dairy processing, with experience in pasteurization, membrane systems, spray dryers and evaporators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of dairy processing experience, preferably in a whey environment.
• Experience with pasteurization, membrane systems, spray dryers and evaporators.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of QA policies and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement in production; determine action; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and write SOPs for production and cleaning processes.
• Perform statistical analysis of lab and process data to identify trends and predict deficiencies.
• Collaborate with sales and customers on product disposition and trials; visit customers as needed.
• Work with ERP systems for product disposition and formulation updates.
