Lifeway Foods, Inc., a leading probiotic dairy producer based in Wisconsin, is seeking a Dairy Process Operator to join the Processing Department in Waukesha. The role ensures products meet PMO and SQF standards while maintaining pasteurizers and related equipment in a dairy production setting.

You will monitor GMPs, SOPs, sanitation, quality points, and maintain documentation, while contributing to continuous improvement and adhering to Lifeway policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 3–6 months related experience; or equivalent.
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Read and write reports and effectively present them to managers and customers.
• Basic math including algebra and geometry.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Software, Inventory Software and Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsabilités

• Follow GMPs for pasteurization and SQF compliance.
• Monitor production and follow SOPs for batching and processing.
• Perform pre-operational sanitation inspections to ensure clean areas and surfaces.
• Monitor quality points like temperature and fat during processing.
• Complete paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Report unsafe conditions and food-safety violations to management.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate equipment issues.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule for the department.
• Operate equipment at recommended speeds and temperatures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
