Job summary

Select Milk Producers is seeking a sanitation associate to support plant sanitation activities across the facility. You will work on audits, HACCP program execution, sanitation, and coordinate with operations on sanitation issues to maintain food safety.

Responsibilities include following the Master Sanitation Schedule, cleaning equipment and facilities, supporting pest control, and participating in training to uphold safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot small problems and ask for assistance when unclear.
• Must be able to operate the equipment effectively after the break-in period.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Clean and maintain all walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, and fixtures as required.
• Assist in the cleaning of processing equipment.
• Help with the Pest Control program by alerting Pest Control Service of any sightings.
• Assist in GMP / Sanitation Audits.
• Learn the usage and application of cleaning compounds and sanitizers to ensure chemical management compliance.
• Participate in sanitation and food safety training.
• Assist in the maintenance of sanitation requirements and related training.
• Perform wastewater sampling and analysis as directed by EH&S Supervisor.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement by participating in efficiency efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
