Job summary

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support CAPX expansions at a state‑of‑the‑art dairy plant in Carlisle. You will manage capital projects, define design requirements, prepare cost estimates, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery aligned with stakeholder expectations.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with food/dairy experience and strong skills in CAD/PM tools. Collaboration with operations and corporate teams is essential for growth initiatives and safety improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years in a manufacturing setting with food or dairy experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of capital project management coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Project manage annual capital spend for the Carlisle facility; may support outside Carlisle.
Prepare specifications for design of building, utilities, process, and equipment.
Oversee external engineering resources and contractors on capital projects.
Develop plant capital project budgets with plant stakeholders.
Assist in selecting equipment and SOPs to meet product specs.
Collaborate with operations and corporate functions on strategic projects.
